Independent trainer: apply for CPMT accreditation

Check eligible experience, prepare a CV and references and apply for the independent trainer certificate.

Check before acting

Accreditation concerns training for employers subject to the Skills Act; it is not a universal teaching licence.

Check experience

Check the required three years of professional experience within the last ten years in each field, and the eligible knowledge-transfer qualification pathway. [1]

Prepare supporting documents

Gather a CV, detailed training plan and reference letter describing work and training hours delivered. Add any requested teaching-method certificates. [2]

Submit and pay

Use Zone entreprise preferably. The alternative combines the email form with mailed payment. Check the current fee; the consulted page gives no precise processing time. [2]

Maintain the certificate

The certificate is valid for three years. Continue training the covered employers and prepare renewal before expiry. [1]
