New commercial importer: create or modify the RM import-export program account in the CARM Client Portal

Obtain a business number, register the exact entity, delegate broker access carefully and confirm access before importing.

Priority

A broker’s account does not replace the importer’s account. Do not share credentials; grant only necessary delegation in the portal.

Confirm the scope

Confirm the legal name, nine-digit business number and person who will be the business-account manager.

Create the user, link the business and register or modify the appropriate RM import-export program account.

Confirm address, activities, roles and broker delegation and arrange financial security when your scenario requires it.

Test access before the first declaration and retain control of notices, statements, payments, changes and users.
