Poaching or illegal act against wildlife: make a report
Observe without confrontation, preserve the scene and send useful wildlife or habitat facts to SOS Braconnage.
Keep your distance, especially when a weapon, vehicle or injured animal is involved. For an immediate threat to a person, call 911.
Record the facts
Note the act, date, time, precise location, number of people and species involved. Clearly separate what you saw from what someone told you.
Preserve the scene
Do not touch or move an object, carcass, trap, casing or equipment. Photograph only from a place where you are authorized and safe.
Describe without investigating
Record clothing, vehicle, plate or vessel if visible without pursuit. Do not try to identify people yourself on social media.
Report to SOS Braconnage
The service receives reports at all times about hunting, fishing, trapping and harm to wildlife habitat. Information provided is treated confidentially.
