Radio interference: isolate the source and report harmful interference
Check your equipment, keep an interference log and provide a useful report to Innovation Canada.
If interference prevents a safety call or communication, immediately use another reliable means. Do not transmit illegally to test the frequency.
Characterize interference
Record the frequency or device, location, dates, times, duration and sound or effect observed. Look for a recurring schedule without accusing someone.
Rule out your installation
Check cables, power, antenna and another receiver; move chargers or devices away one at a time. Do not disassemble energized equipment.
Keep a log
Retain recordings, screenshots, equipment models and tests performed. A short reproducible sequence is more useful than a long video without reference points.
