Contaminated sites in Quebec: map and address-area search
Click the map or search an address to view MELCCFP contaminated-land records and geolocated federal contaminated sites within a radius you choose.
or simply click the map.
Choose a point. Your position is not sent to Atlas.
Two jurisdictions: Atlas keeps MELCCFP contaminated-land records and federally managed sites from the Federal Contaminated Sites Inventory clearly identified. A federal record is not artificially merged with a provincial record.
Privacy: the selected point, your location and the radius remain in your browser. Optional address search communicates directly with the OpenStreetMap geocoder; Atlas does not receive or store the address.
How should a result be interpreted?
The presence of a site in an official inventory does not by itself establish a risk for a nearby property. Distance is only geographic context; check the official record and responsible authority before making a real-estate decision.
