The CRTC licence and ISED technical certificate are separate. Check exemptions before selecting an application form.

Confirm the right process

Classify the service and distribution method, then determine the required licence, exemption and technical authorizations.

Prepare the dossier

Prepare ownership and control, programming, service market, financing, commitments and technical material matching the application type.

Submit the application

Download the current form and file through My CRTC Account; identify and justify confidential information.

Follow up

Follow publication, interventions and information requests; await authorizations and comply with conditions and renewal requirements.
