Confirm the project’s status under the project list and designation decisions; contact the Agency early.

Prepare the dossier

Describe the proponent, location, components, schedule, alternatives considered, environmental setting and effects within federal jurisdiction.

Submit the application

Document engagement already undertaken, prepare required public documents and submit a description following the official guide.

Follow up

Respond to identified issues and prepare a detailed description if requested; follow the decision on whether an assessment is required.
