Quebec + Canada Data Explorer: housing, health, environment, transport and economy

Explore official Atlas products covering land, energy, jobs, housing, geotechnical data, biodiversity, water, transport, health and the economy.

This interface groups public-data products that do not need a dedicated standalone page. Oracle downloads and normalizes stable files; massive map services, sources whose licences are incompatible with commercial republication and oversized national datasets remain at the official source.

Atlas principle: search, filters and user-specific calculations stay in your browser. Heavy public files are prepared on Oracle and served as static JSON; LiDAR rasters and other massive geospatial layers stay with the publishing authority.

Why do some products open the official source?

A stable file or API can be copied and normalized when its licence permits it. Massive map services, incompatible licences and disproportionately large national files stay at the official source. This avoids brittle scraping, stale copies and unnecessary storage.

Sources include Données Québec, CPTAQ, Hydro-Québec, ISQ, MSSS, MELCCFP, MRNF, MTMD, OPC, Statistics Canada, CMHC, IRCC, Health Canada, Natural Resources Canada, Transport Canada, TSB, ECCC, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Parks Canada, CanadaBuys, CRA and CBSA.
