Priority

A complaint, a plan objection and a discrimination complaint are different procedures. The 60-day clock may start from different events.

Confirm the scope

Confirm the federal employer is covered, your employee or representative status and the conduct, decision or posting challenged.

Prepare the information

Distinguish an obligations or retaliation complaint, an objection to an employer-led plan and a separate human-rights claim.

Complete the process

Record first awareness or final posting, gather notices, the plan, communications and chronology and request the form through the portal.

Keep follow-up records

File within 60 days, protect necessary information and follow information requests, resolution and the Commissioner’s decision.
