Confirm the scope
Classify the device as dimension, electricity, gas, mass, volume, thermal energy, EV charging or an auxiliary component.
Prepare the information
Check specifications and markings and prepare design, construction, legally relevant software, manuals, test results and billing details.
Complete the process
Complete the type-approval request, identify a new approval or amendment and upload all technical documentation.
Keep follow-up records
Answer within stated periods, ship a sample only when requested and await the notice of approval before trade use.
