The address change has a deadline
A new address must be declared within 30 days, and failing to do so carries a fine. A Quebec address change service transmits the update to several departments and agencies, including the SAAQ and the health insurance board, in one step.
Renewing the licence
Check the expiry date and the notice received, check your health status on file (a self-declaration or medical report may be required and blocks the renewal even if you paid), pay online or through your financial institution, have a photo taken at a service point if required, then verify the classes and conditions on the document.
Cases that are not fully online
A lost, stolen or damaged licence (replacement may be online or in person, with a temporary licence possible), renouncing a class (it can force new exams to get it back), and any file involving health, points or suspension, which is no longer a renewal.
