Satellite project: prepare the spectrum licence application and orbital information for ISED

A spectrum licence does not replace applicable launch, remote-sensing or earth-station authorizations.

Confirm the right process

Define the operator, space system, requested bands and geographical scope; confirm the applicable licensing regime.

Prepare the dossier

Prepare technical and orbital information, ownership, eligibility and the coordination and deployment information requested by ISED.

Submit the application

Create a Spectrum Management System profile and apply through the satellite spectrum authorization services.

Follow up

Answer review requests and await the licence; meet its conditions, milestones, fees and coordination or amendment obligations.
