Recognize abuse
Service Canada examples include threats, intimidation, violence, movement restrictions, passport confiscation, unpaid wages or leave, different work or threats about status.
Preserve accessible evidence
Keep copies of passport, permit, contract, LMIA when available, pay records, schedules, housing, messages, names and locations. Back them up in an account the employer cannot access.
